Polycarbonate (Lexan)

Polycarbonates (PC), known by the trademarked names Lexan, Makrolon, Makroclear and others, are a particular group of thermoplastic polymers. They are easily worked, molded, and thermoformed. Because of these properties, polycarbonates find many applications.

General Purpose

For everyday use when exposure to outdoor conditions are minimal – For general fabrication, machine guards, safety screens etc

UV Treated

When exposure to sunlight would cause discolouration in General Purpose grades. Also available in tints, Ideal for use in marine environments – Boats, yachts etc.

Abrasion Resistant

Hard Coated – For use when abrasive particles would score GP grades (This grade cannot be bent or folded)
